3rd Annual Texas Hill Country Ride
Dates: Friday Jan 28 - Fri Feb 4, 2005
Where: This years ride will headquarter in Fredericksburg, TX approximately
70 miles west of either San Antonio or Austin.
Ride: This is legendary biking country, rolling, scenic hills, and
very little traffic. The locals are biker friendly, thanks to Texas
native Lance Armstrong.
All rides will start and end in Fredericksburg, beginning Sat. Jan
29 for seven days, weather permitting. The rides are TCBC A/B rides
with distances of approx. 30-65 miles. All routes will be researched
and maps with cue sheets provided.
Cost: There are no up front costs. You are responsible for your
own transportation, accomodations and meals.
Transportation: Driving distance to Fredericksburg is about 1200
miles or fly to either Austin or San Antonio. With some coordination
we can carpool from the airport. A car is not necessary once in town.
Bikes can go UPS if you are flying.
Weather: Normal highs are in the mid-60's, although weather can
vary. Come prepared for both cooler and warmer conditions.
