TCBC is the largest recreational bicycling club in the Minneapolis-Saint Paul area. TCBC has rides and events for a range of skill levels. Most of our members are adults at an intermediate, non-racer level who enjoy the benefits of group riding. TCBC rides are open to members and non-members. We are a 501c3 non-profit organization that is operated primarily by volunteers.

Our Spring All Club Ride starts at Rich Valley Park in Inver Grove Heights, also referred to as Rich Valley Athletic Complex. The park address is 1841 105th Avenue, Inver Grove Heights, 55077; located at the intersection of Cty Rd 71 and Cty Rd 73. This year’s ride selection offers 19, 37, 50 and 73 mile routes. Drafting for the Recreational Bicyclist
As most of you know, riding behind other bicyclists for protection from the wind can be quite beneficial. Studies have shown that having other bikers on all sides of you can result in up to a 25% reduction in your workload. That’s why bicycle racers do it, but doing so comes with an increased risk of having an accident. This risk can be significantly reduced, however, if everyone in a group of riders follows some rules and guidelines that are listed here in a random order:
