For those planning to arrive by motor vehicle, avoid 18th Avenue NE which is closed for construction. For lack of a better reference, use Broadway Avenue and north on Fillmore, That said, Goggle maps should get you there just fine. Look for a Sociable Cider Werks sign that is at the entrance to the parking lot. The driveway goes west of Filmore past the Brinks (red armor car) warehouse. The Northeast Athletic Fields will be on the east side of the entrance.

I rode the ride today and we will be doing a lot of trail riding. From NE, we will head up through the North Mpls Regional Park and take the newest extension of the Twin Lakes Regional Trail at 57th Avenue into Robbinsdale. We'll ride around the old Brookdale site which has been redeveloped and has incorporated protected bikeways quite nicely. Great river boardwalks at Twin Lakes in Robbinsdale and then onto Theodore Wirth. See the construction site for the new Theodore Wirth Multi Purpose Trailhead before heading back into downtown. If we have time and the group has the stomach, we will pass through the Polish Fest near St. Anthony Main. Ride the woonerf which never gets any attention and is more interesting. It should be a hoot. I'm pretty sure, parts of this route will be new to those on the ride.

Remember your lights front and back. It will be an easy pace that can take in the sight seeing which there is much to observe.
