2017 Ride the Ridges

The fifth annual RIDE THE RIDGES, set for September 16, 2017, will take riders through some of the most scenic areas in Southeastern Minnesota – from lush valleys along streams to bluffs overlooking the Mississippi River. Choose one of four routes. Each has hills and valleys – and spectacular views. All routes have rest stops and SAG support. There are 4 mileage options to choose from: 23, 44, 67, or 105 miles.
Sponsored by the Winona Rotary Club, proceeds support Feed My Starving Children, Winona Volunteer Services - Kids Summer Lunch Program, and literacy initiatives, such as Books for Babies and the Dictionary Project.
You must register for this ride. You can register at www.ridetheridges.bike. All routes will depart from the Winona Middle School, 1570 Homer Road, and travel south along Highway 43. Ride check in starts at 6:45, and riders can start anytime between 7 and 9. Century riders are encouraged to start by 7:30. There are free showers available at the middle school after the ride, but you must bring a towel. Interactive maps for all 4 routes can be found on the ride's website.
Ride leader will plan to be at the ride start at 6:45 for sign in and will start riding by 7:30. Don't want to ride that early? Email me you ride number and distance after the ride.
