This is a stay-together group hike. There will be a hill or two for a little challenge. Towards the end of the hike there is a gorgeous scenic overlook - will be able to see for miles and miles! 3 TUE 5:45 PM AB 36/29/24 mi. THE ACAPULCO RIDE. Depart from the Acapulco Restaurant. Back for a tenth year! From I-694, take Hwy 36 east for 6.5 miles to Stillwater. Turn left on Washington Ave (first stoplight past the Hwy 5 overpass) Take an immediate right on the frontage road for 1/4 mile to the Valley Ridge Mall and Acapulco Restaurant on the left. We’ll roll on quiet roads to Afton, eat afterwards and just have fun. What more could you ask for? Rain may force cancellation of the ride at the leaders discretion, but we can still eat! 15 SUN 10:00 AM B 63 mi. BELLE CREEK VALLEY RIDE. Depart from west end of Cannon Valley Trail lot, Cannon Falls, MN. From Hwy 52, go east on 19 until just west of 4th St. This is a very rural ride. No store at first break. Bring an energy bar and enough drink for a good 30 miles until the lunch stop in Wanamingo. We go down PUDDING BOY HILL, and also drop into the Belle Creek Valley and into the Cannon Valley at Welch Village. We finish out riding the western half of the Cannon Valley Trail.
