Turn left on Washington Ave (first stoplight past the Hwy 5 overpass) Take an immediate right on the frontage road for 1/4 mile to the Valley Ridge Mall and Acapulco Restaurant on the left. 30 WED 5:30 PM C 15-20 mi. THE RIDE TO ELM CREEK. Depart from Maple Grove Cycling and Fitness, 8121 Wedgewood Lane (corner of Weaver Lake Rd and Elm Creek Blvd, near Cub Foods; take I-94 west to Weaver Lake Road exit). This will be a mapless ride, following the roads and trails of Maple Grove out to the Elm Creek Park preserve and back. This ride is on paved trails and low-traffic streets around Coon Rapids Dam and Mississippi River. 30 WED 6:00 PM B 18-25 mi. SLP'ING OUT. Depart from Erik's Bike Shop on corner of Minnetonka Blvd and Texas Ave (between 100 & 169) in St Louis Park. Meet the group in the parking lot that is furthest from the bike shop's door. We'll ride mostly on paved trails, painted bicycle lanes and/or low-traffic roads in the west metro area. There will be a different map for each ride for those that want to go faster, but those that want to ride a B pace (about 14 MPH) along with me will be able to ride together in a group.
