From I-35, take Hwy 48 west to Hwy 61, north on Hwy 61 to 2nd St NW, west on 2nd St NW to the trailhead. A series of scenic, mostly flat rides to explore the Willard Munger Trail, designated as Minnesota's Millenium Trail for the year 2000. This ride will be from Hinckley to Finlayson and back, with a short side trip and food stop in Sandstone on the way back. Arrive about 1 PM to get your bike and self ready. Depart from West side of Langford Park Bldg, which is southwest of the intersection of Como and Raymond Avenues in St. Paul just W of the State Fairgrounds. You turn S on Scudder and then R to Langford or turn b/4 or after the railroad overpass on Raymond at Blake St & W to Langford Park. For those of you unfamiliar with the area, it is easiest to get to St Anthony Park (SAP) from So Mpls in rush hour by taking Marshall Ave. (Lake St) East across the River and then turn north at the country club and proceed up Pelham to Myrtle & turn R and to Raymond Ave L (N) and to Blake & L to Langford Park. Coming from downtown Mpls, it is easiest to take 4th St to the U of M and exit the first R after the River by Coffman Student Union and then wind through the U of M, heading north until you can take a right at Kasota Ave & follow it over to Raymond Ave. and N (L) to Blake St and L (W) to Langford Park. We'll take a nice relaxing Friday route on some of our favorite roads around St Paul and Roseville -- River Road, Edgcombe Rd, Summit, Como, Victoria, N Owasso -- lube that chain and fly! 30 SAT 5:00 AM AA 202 mi. PAUL BUNYAN DOUBLE CENTURY. This is an AA ride of 202 miles from Anoka to Mille Lacs Lake, around it, and back again. We'll meet at Anoka Senior High School, 3939 7th Ave (County Road 7) from 4:30 to 4:45 AM. We'll begin the ride en masse at about 5 AM. The high school is about 1.5 miles north of Hwy. 10 on County 7.

At the light on Courtly, go SE (left) to Ojibway Drive, then right into the park. (Note: If a park event fills the lot, park at the High School which is one block west of the park on Woodlane). Scenic route through southern Washington County including Grey Cloud Island, Cottage Grove Ravine Park and a rest stop in Afton. Some hilly sections that appear to lead up into the clouds. Depart from the west end of the Coldwell Banker Burnet parking lot, one block west of the junction of Lake Street and Excelsior Blvd. The lot is west of the office building at 3033 Excelsior Blvd. (South side of Excelsior.). The same great ride is back, but with a new starting point and some different routes! This is an easier B/C ride exploring Mpls and St. Paul roadways, parks, bikeways, and lakes, with an emphasis on bikeways! Stay after for light lunch or snack at any of the local restaurants.
