This ride is NOT WEEKLY anymore, so you MUST CHECK the web schedule. This year the ride will be offered many Wednesdays, but not all. If you're up to the CHALLENGE of this up & down format, you'll find scenic traffic-free roads that will be the HIGHLIGHT of your week. Remember, the leader, route, and schedule varies...are you up to the challenge? Leader varies each week; If any questions, contact leader for that week. Self-sufficient B riders strongly encouraged; there's a group of us, and shortcuts are always available. Ride starts at park. If weather threatens, call leader at 651-690-2100 to see if ride has been canceled before coming to start. If ride is canceled, there will also be a message on the RIDE CANCEL/DELAY message board by 9:30 Wed. morning. Sue Blum, 651-690-2100, sueblum-at-earthlink-dot-net. 7 WED 3:45 PM B 13 or 19 mi. I am helping Mike Beadles out this year to continue this ride for those that want to log around 40-50 miles on a Wednesday evening (this ride plus the 5:30 ride). This is a short and easy ride primarily on bike paths with easy terrain (no hills). Ride should conclude around 5:10pm in time to join Mike’s 5:30 ride at the same location allowing some socialization with the 5:30 riders. This ride is mapless with extremely easy routes. If Mike Beadles changes his 5:30pm ride start time, this ride’s start time will also change so that there is an hour and 45 minutes difference between the two rides. If its’ raining, just finished a heavy downpour, or severe weather is imminent this ride will be cancelled. Please feel free to call the ride leader if in doubt. There will be two distance options this year. One will be the same as last year (13 miles). A second option will be a slightly longer 19 mile ride (for those that want more miles) that will add a leg down to the Free Wheel Bike location on the Greenway trail and back and then continue on the 13 mile route.
