1 THU THE WHOLE ENCHILADA! N 20-25 mi. Depart at 6 PM from the Roseville Professional Center (2233 Hamline Ave N – just south of Hwy 36 on the west side of Hamline Ave in Roseville). Park at the west end of the lot. Front and rear lights required. Ride past area lakes and parks of Roseville and the surrounding area. 3 SAT STRAW MAN. B 40 mi. Depart at 11 AM (note change in day and start time from last week's ride!) from Ramsey Beach. Second in a series of training rides for the IRONMAN. This week's route takes us to Marine on St. Croix and back with a few hills along the way. Take Hwy 61 north through White Bear Lake, turn right on Hwy 96 east, 1/4 mile to Ramsey Beach parking lot on the right. Liz Sands and Mary Derks.
4 SUN ROLLING ON THE WESTSIDE. A/B 35-45 mi. Depart at 10:00 AM from Caribou Coffee on Rt 101. Three and a half miles west of 494 on Highway 7, make a right on Rt 101, park at far end of lot towards Cub Foods. An excellent ride in the western suburbs. Below 32 or ice will cancel the ride. Eric Feld

Departs promptly at 6:00 PM from the Lock & Dam parking lot underneath the west end of the Stone Arch Bridge (go northeast on Portland from Washington Ave then just past West River Road down a short steep hill to the Minneapolis Lock & Dam parking lot) in Minneapolis for a ride using the East and West River Roads, Summit Ave and the High Bridge. 10 SAT ALUMINUM MAN. B 52 mi. Depart at 11 AM from Ramsey Beach. Third in a series of training rides for the IRONMAN. The route explores the back roads around Hugo and Scandia. 13 TUE BUNKER HILLS AND BEYOND. A/B 24 - 28 mi., B/C 21 mi. Depart at 6:00 PM from Bunker Hills Activity Center, 550 Bunker Lake Blvd, NW; Andover. There is no rest stop on either ride option. Explore the northern Twin Cities metro area while riding through open meadows and tree-lined avenues of the Anoka Sand Plain. Supper opportunity at establishments in Riverdale Mall after the ride. Meander through the SW Metro during a pleasant evening of leisurely paced pedaling on this ever-evolving ride. 17 SAT TIN MAN. A 75 mi, B 50-55 mi, C 20-25 mi. Depart at 10 AM from Mahtomedi Senior High School (note change in start time and location from last week's ride!). Last in a series of training rides for the IRONMAN. The full 75-mile route goes through Lake Elmo, Afton, Stillwater and Marine on St. Croix. 17 SAT DONE BY ONE. B – B/C 25 mi. Depart at 10 AM from Nokomis Beach Coffee (and ice cream!) at the corner of 28th Avenue and 50th St. in South Minneapolis. This is one block east of Lake Nokomis on 50th Street, and two blocks south of Minnehaha Parkway on 28th Avenue. Park on-street or in the coffee shop lot. This is an easy B ride exploring Mpls and St. Paul parks, bikeways, lakes, and the muddy Mississippi. Stay after for light lunch or snack and coffee at Nokomis Beach Coffee - great sandwiches! 18 SUN RUSH CADY TO EAU GALLE. A/B 60 - 80 mi. Depart at 10:00 AM from Baldwin WI (Exit 19 on I-94). Park behind the Qwik Trip, just north of I-94. A ride through the river valleys of the Rush River, Eau Galle River and Cady Creek. Alternate routes available to avoid some of the hills. Rest stops will be at 20-25 mile spacing. Scott Larson.

Leaves at 1:00 PM from the University of St. Thomas parking lot at Cretin and Summit Avenues, St. Paul. (Use the Cretin exit from I94, follow signs to UST lot.)
