1 THU POLAR BEAR RIDE. A/B/C 12 mi. Leave at 12:15 PM from the SW corner of St. Paul Sears, at I-94 and Marion St. Down Summit Avenue to the Mississippi and back. Includes a lunch stop at a place to be announced. Severe weather may cancel this ride. If in doubt, call perennial leader Bob Hoffman.

2 FRI AN AFTERNOON RIDE. A/B 15-30 mi. Depart at 1:00 PM from Nokomis Beach Coffee Shop at 50th Street and 28th Avenue in South Minneapolis. Mileage varies depending on the weather. If temperature less than 20 degrees at 12:00 noon (including wind chill) ride will be canceled. Questions, call Susan Evan

3 SAT MINNESOTA RIVER VALLEY TRAIL RIDE. MB-A/B 10-30 mi. Depart at 8:30 AM from Memorial Park in Shakopee. The park is located on Hwy 101 between Murphy’s Landing and Shakopee (north side of Hwy 101). The ride will be on the Minnesota River Valley Snowmobile trail that runs between Shakopee and Belle Plaine. This is a flat, non-technical trail. Since this ride requires a packed, frozen trail, the ride will be cancelled if the temperature is above freezing or if there is significant fresh snow that hasn’t been packed by snowmobiles. No map. No restrooms at the start. John Pugh

3 SAT NOKOMIS KOOLER. B 15-30 mi. Depart at 11:00 AM from the Nokomis Beach Coffee (28th Ave. S and E. 50th St.). Done by One route with variations possible for conditions. Katie and Jim Angle. Ciao!

4 SUN THINK SPRING. A/B 15-40 mi. Depart at 1 PM from Roseville Professional Center (2233 Hamline Ave N - just south of Hwy 36 on the west side of Hamline Ave in Roseville across from the Roseville Library). Park at the west end of the lot. Water & restrooms available in Dunn Bros before & after the ride. Weather dictates distance, tire tread, & clothing layers. Tales & java/juice afterward at Dunn's or in lieu of the ride if there's bad weather. Charles Breer.

6 TUE PACK UP YOUR BIKE AND GO! Learn how to pack your bike for travel and how to reassemble once you arrive at your destination. Beginners welcome, free in-line skating instruction provided by RollerDome. Free coat and bag check, and free use of protective gear (although you might want to bring your own biking helmet instead of using theirs). 8 THU KAFFEE, TORTE ODER KUCHEN ANYONE? Please come und join our group of gut people at Panera's Bread on White Bear Ave. just 2 blocks North of Hi-way 36, west side next to Rainbow Foods. 10 SAT SKI: WILD RIVER STATE PARK. 50-km variety of beginning to advanced trails in the wonderful wintry woods. Heated trail center with concessions. Bring a bag lunch. Meet at the trail center around 10:15 AM. Park entrance fee. Doug Nelson.

10 SAT BRRR, LET’S RIDE! A/B 15-40 mi. 10:30 AM. Just because it's winter doesn't mean we shouldn't ride. Riding a bike in snow, slush, and cold temperatures can even be fun! Plan to meet at Mendota Plaza, Hwy 110 and Dodd Road in Mendota Heights (less than 1 mile east of I-35 E on Hwy 110). Self sufficient B riders are encouraged to attend. 13 TUE THE CRAFTY CYCLISTS. 6 PM. Winter is here and it's time to continue with the arts, crafts, and hobbies. Bring the project of your choice (knitting, stamping, beading, etc.) and some good company to add to the fun. Plan to meet in Richfield near The Southdale Mall. We'll bask in the sun during a winter week of warmth while bicycling along the Pacific Ocean. Five full days of bicycling although the third day of riding is optional. Pre-registration is required.
