We’ll leave at 8:30 AM sharp, from Panera’s Bread located at 2515 White Bear Ave, in Maplewood. 2 blocks north of Hwy 36 on White Bear Ave. Please park to rear of lot close to the street. 1 THU MISSISSIPPI GORGE RIDE. C 20 mi. Leave at 9:45 AM from intersection of East River Road and Summit Ave in St Paul. Park in lot or on side streets. Enjoy lunch stop at St Martin's Table on the West Bank of the University. Herb Schultz, Clareyse Nelson.

1 THU A DUTCH TREAT PLUS. A/B 29 mi. B 23 mi. Depart at 6 PM from Plymouth Station Shopping Center, Highway 55 and County 24 in Plymouth, 2 mi west of I-494. Park at north end by the tower. 1 THU GOOGLY MOOGLY II: ELECTRIC BOOGALOO. B 25-35 mi. Leaves at 6 PM from the main parking lot at the University of St. Thomas, corner of Cretin and Summit Avenues, St. Paul. 1 THU FARQUAR PARK LOOP. A 36 mi. or A/B 30 mi. Depart at 6:00 PM from Farquar Park, in Apple Valley. The park is on Pilot Knob Rd about 3/4 miles south of McAndrews Rd. (CR38). This is a nice, easy route through the southeastern suburbs, with a couple of hills for fun. John Pugh, Lisa Dust.

2 FRI MMIV METRIC. A/B 30 or 64 mile route. 10:00 AM. NEW departure place of Vadnais-Sucker Lake Regional Park, 4500 Rice St., just south of Highway 96 north end. Get a jumpstart on your weekend miles. Cruise to Marine on St. Croix with a cheap sandwich at the General Store before heading back to Shoreview. Katie Angle

2 FRI EATIN' PRAIRIE. B 25-30 mi. Depart at 6:00 PM from the lot in front of Erik’s Bike Shop in Eden Prairie, NE corner of Hwy 5 and Co. Rd. 4. Fill your water bottles or use the restrooms in Erik’s. Come ride the western suburbs with a new route every week. Optional dinner after the ride at Timberlodge or Pepitos. Steve Scott

3 SAT AFTON-COTTAGE GROVE HILL TOUR. A/B 41 mi. Depart at 8 AM. It's time to get your hill on! Take a scenic ride through the hills of Afton and Cottage Grove. Meet at Eagle Valley Shopping Center parking lot (near Espresso Donut), SE intersection of Woodbury Dr. (Hwy 19) & Valley Creek Rd, in Woodbury. 3 SAT DONE BY NOON. B-B/C 25 mi. Depart at 9 AM from Nokomis Beach Coffee (and ice cream!) at the corner of 28th Avenue and 50th St. in South Mpls. One block east of Lake Nokomis on 50th St, and two blocks south of Minnehaha Pkwy on 28th. Park on street or in coffee shop lot. This is an easy B-B/C ride exploring Mpls and St. Paul parks, bikeways, lakes, and the muddy Mississippi. Stay after for light lunch or snack and coffee at Nokomis Beach Coffee – great sandwiches! 3 SAT LORD OF THE RINGS. A/B 44 or 56 mi. Leave at 9:00 AM from Ojibway Park in Woodbury. Exit 494 at Lake Road and go southeast, left on Courtly Road and then a right on Ojibway Drive into the park. Scenic, country ride with a rest stop at Selma's Ice Cream in Afton. Give your chainrings an extra workout on the longer option. Jeff Johnson

3 SAT RUM RUNNER. B/C 24 mi. Depart at 10:00 AM from Anoka County Library-Rum River Branch, 4201 6th Ave, Anoka (Across Bunker Lake Blvd from Anoka High School). This is an easy  ride on the rural roads of Andover, Ramsey, and Oak Grove. John Swoyer
 
3 SAT DONE BY NOON DOUBLE SHOT. B 25 mi. Depart at 12:30 PM from Nokomis Beach Coffee (and ice cream!) at the corner of 28th Ave and 50th St. in South Mpls. One block east of Lake Nokomis, two blocks south of Minnehaha Pkwy. Park on street or in coffee shop lot. After lunch at the coffee shop (optional, but great soup and sandwiches), we’ll ride the same route as Done by Noon, but in the opposite direction. 4 SUN BOOM BOOM RIDE. N 20-25 mi. Depart at 8 PM from the main parking lot at the University of St. Thomas, corner of Cretin and Summit Avenues, St. Paul (use Cretin-Vandalia exit from I94 and follow signs). Good batteries to work front and rear bike lights required. Join a group of TCBC riders for an annual tradition to watch the fireworks along the Mississippi River. We'll ride as a group roundtrip to either Mpls or St. Paul. Suggested paraphernalia for the evening includes bug spray, munchies, and perhaps your favorite fireworks-watching blankie. 5 MON MONDAY! SUNRISE SOLITUDE. A/B 62 & 79 mi. + A 100 & 151 mi. Depart 5:30 AM from Perkins Restaurant, New Brighton, 2 blocks west of I-35W on Cty. Rd. D, park at far end of lot. Choose one of four mileage options to ride in the country & city plus the whole Gateway Trail, starting with the solitude of a sunrise. Leader: Charles Breer

5 MON CANNON VALLEY TRAIL. C 40 mi. 9 AM start. Lucky us, we have the day off. Hopefully other riders do too. Park at the north end of the Red Wing Pottery mall/shops. 6 TUE BE DAM'D 'N BACK. B/C 30 mi. Depart 9:00 AM from Steamworks Coffee and Tea Co., corner of 44th Ave. and Penn Ave. North. We'll head north on Shingle Creek Trail and hook up with the North Hennepin Trail, cross Coon Rapids Dam and head back along the Mississippi River Corridor Trail. Come early for waffles at the coffee shop and bring a picnic lunch for the rest stop at the Dam. Please park on neighborhood streets to the west and south, not in coffee shop parking lot. 6 TUE GEARS, TEARS, & FEARS. A/B 33 mi. Depart at 6 PM from E. Mississippi River Blvd and Hartford Ave. Park on the south side of Hartford Ave and the three north lots at the Temple Of Aaron. 6 TUE BUNKER HILLS AND BEYOND. A/B 38 miles, B/C 31 miles. Depart at 6:00 PM from Bunker Hills Activity Center, 550 Bunker Lake Blvd, NW; Andover.  Explore the northern Twin Cities metro area while riding through open meadows and tree-lined avenues of the Anoka Sand Plain. 6 TUE ACAPULCO RIDE. A/B 28 mi. (21 mile option also). Leave at 6:15 PM from the Acapulco Restaurant at 1240 North Frontage Road (of Hwy. 36) in Stillwater. Take I-694 to Hwy. 36. Go east on 36 approx. 6 miles and turn left on Washington Ave. which is the first stoplight past the Hwy. 5 overpass. Take an immediate right on the frontage road (by Anderson Windows) for approx. 1/4 mile to the Valley Ridge Mall and Acapulco Restaurant on the left. Roll out on a serene and scenic route, then relax and eat with your Amigos afterwards in the Cantina. Oh, by the way, beware of wild turkeys! (On the road, not in the Cantina). 7 WED MIDWEEK MORNING RAMBLES. C 20-30 mi. Depart at 10 AM from the Champlin Lifetime Fitness/Champlin Ice Arena parking lot at Hwy 169 and 120TH  Avenue. (NEW START LOCATION) Elm Creek Trail access is on the northwest corner of the parking lot. Route may vary using the Elm Creek Park Reserve trails and the back roads of Maple Grove, Champlin, Anoka and Coon Rapids Dam crossing. There will be mid ride breaks and gathering at the Champlin Culver’s or other agreeable locals after the ride. Phillip Lawson

7 WED CITY EXPLORER. A/B 25-40 mi, ride leaves promptly at 10 AM. Meet at the Lake Harriet Bandshell in Minneapolis. With Lake Harriet as our base we will venture out in all directions and explore the beautiful metro area by bicycle. Kelly Hazel

7 WED WILDS OF WISCONSIN. A/B 40-65 mi. Depart 10:30 AM from Wisconsin Visitor Center just off Exit 2 of I-94 in Hudson, WI. Enjoy rolling hills and scenic country roads free of city traffic.  A variety of routes, with short-cut options available on all.  Well worth the drive.  Due to location, call morning of ride if weather is questionable. Guaranteed more effective than Prozac, this evening's session consists of a scenic route southward into northern Dakota County on mostly lesser-traveled roads. 10 SAT WOW REVISITED. A/B 57/73 mi. Depart at 9 AM from Hoffman Park, River Falls, WI. Quiet country roads, big hills, and a great lunch stop in Maiden Rock. 94E to 35 South (River Falls exit). Exit left on County Road M, turn right (west) on M/Division, then a quick right on Hanson Drive. Dave Eenigenburg and Dianne Bell.

10 SAT SEE-SAW TO ARKANSAW. A/B 65 mi. Depart at 9:30 AM from the park on the river in Maiden Rock, WI. Cross into Wisconsin at Prescott or Red Wing and take WI 35 south to the town of Maiden Rock on Lake Pepin. Turn towards the river on Chestnut St. and into the park. A challenging up-and-down ride into the scenic hills and coulees between Maiden Rock and Arkansaw. Snack food / water / restroom /suggested picnic stop in Arkansaw, around the halfway point. 10 SAT BIKE WASHINTON COUNTY. C 29 mi. Depart at 10:00 AM from Gorman's Restaurant on the west side of Lake Elmo (Hwy 5 and County Rd. 17). Park in the far back parking lot behind the restaurant. 10 SAT B RIDE WITH SOME HILLS. B 30 mi. Leave at 10:00 AM from the bottom of Crosby Farm Road in Crosby Farm Park. (Crosby Farm Park is along the Mississippi River in St. Paul. Entrance is at intersection where Mississippi River Blvd becomes Shepard Road.) The ride goes along the Mississippi River, with several nice climbs. Dave Dugan

Leaves at 10 AM from Mahtomedi High School, on Hwy 12 (take Hwy 36 just east of I-694, north on Hilton Trail, east on Hwy 12, then left into school). Bring your appetite for strawberry rhubarb pie, shortcake, dipped strawberries, and other confections as we roll over favorite country roads and the Gateway Trail on route to a delicious summertime rest stop! 10 SAT CHIPPEWA RIVER TRAIL RIDE. C 35-40 mi. Meet at 10:30 AM at Trail Head Eau Claire. From Hwy 12 in Eau Claire, WI take Menomonie St East onto Water St, approximately one mile to 1st Ave. Parking lot on left. We will trek to Carryville and Meridean with stops en route. $4.00 daily or $15.00 annual trail fee. 11 SUN CHASKA-MAYER-CHASKA. A/B 48-52 mi. Self-sufficient B riders welcome. Like Chaska-Waconia-Chaska, but a bit longer. Departs 8:30 AM from Caribou Coffee at the NE corner of Highway 41 and Pioneer Trail in Chaska. From Eden Prairie, take either 5 to 41 and go south, or 212 to 41 and go north. About 12 - 15 minutes from Eden Prairie Shopping Ctr. Park at far west end of lot. Long stretches w/ rolling hills! See beautiful Lake Waconia! Go 5 miles at a pop w/out stop signs! Map at start. 11 SUN WASHINGTON COUNTY WHIRL. A/B 42 mi. Depart at 9 AM from Ojibway Park in Woodbury. Exit 494 at Lake Road and go southeast, left on Courtly Road and then right on Ojibway Drive. Bounded by I-94 on the north and Highway 10 on the south, we'll visit some familiar and some scenic, lesser-traveled roads of southern Washington County. Tony Wanschura.

11 SUN BLITZKRIEG BOP. A/B 35 and 45 mile routes. Leaves at 9:30 AM from the University of Saint Thomas. This is a hill ride. We start out with a nice warmup on Summit, then hit Ohio St, Victoria, and about 30 miles of rollers. This one will get your heart rate up. Self-sufficient B riders are welcome. Jan Kujawa

11 SUN RED CEDAR AND CREAMERY BRUNCH. C 20-30 mi. Ride departs at 10:30 AM from Menomonie, WI trailhead. Exit Hwy 94 on 41 A exit at Menomonie, WI. Go south on Hwy 25 then west on Hwy 29 following signs to trailhead. We will brunch at the Creamery. Bring money for brunching and $4.00 trail fee. 11 SUN MEDICINE LAKE - PARKERS LAKE. C 18 mi. 12 noon start. Two lake double loop within the boundaries of Plymouth, utilizing pre-Luce Line trail connection. Find East Medicine Lake Park (not French Regional or West Medicine). Take 169 to Medicine Lake Rd exit, go west to Frontage Rd, left approx. half-mile to park. Dave Rusinko

12 MON LAKE NOKOMIS OUT AND BACK. B 20-25 mi. 6 PM. Leave from Nokomis Beach Coffee at corner of 28th and 50th St. in South Minneapolis. This is one block east of Lake Nokomis on 50th St and two blocks south of Mpls Pkwy on 28th Ave. Please park on the street. This is a social ride that will be exploring Mpls & St. Paul. Wear a favorite biking t-shirt and tennis shoes to tour a variety of local parks, lakes and trails. The 1st loop is 10 to 12 miles so you can call it a day after the 1st loop if you wish or also go for the 2nd loop for a total of 23 to 26 miles. 18 SUN MINNESOTA RIVER VALLEY TOUR. A 83 or A/B 65 mi. Depart at 9:00 AM from Erik’s Bike Shop (Burnsville store). 501 County Road 42 E. Ride on a winding route, south of the river and return on the north side of the river through Bloomington. The long route will cross the Minnesota River at Shakopee and the shorter route will cross on the Bloomington Ferry Bridge. Both routes will cross again on the I494 bike bridge. 18 SUN METRO MEANDER. B/C 35 mi. Depart at 1:30 PM from Calhoun Cycle at the corner of Hennepin Avenue and 34th St. in South Minneapolis. Park in the lot behind the shop or on the streets west of the shop (on 34th and on Holmes). This is a social ride exploring Minneapolis and St. Paul parks, bikeways, lakes, and the muddy Mississippi. However, we will rise from the prairie and encounter some occasional hills. Along the way we will stop at Dunn Bros Coffee for our rest stop and then finish the ride.
