Bicycle Duluth with Tom & Dona Devine
Four glorious days of biking in Duluth. We will bike from Duluth
to Two Harbors for lunch and back one day. Duluth to Carlton (for
lunch) on the Munger Trail on another plus 2 other days of riding
the back roads of Duluth. Bernie Kalkenbrenner (Duluth resident)
has come up with a couple of good routes for the other two days.
You will be on your own for accommodations. Come for 1 day or come
for all 4. It's not the same weekend as the "Blues Festival"
so it should be easier to make reservations. Watch for details about
meeting times and places in the July Ride Schedule.

each days' depart time for the leader's briefing & to receive
a full color brochure of maps for local paved trails and the city.
You can choose either the B or A/B distance/terrain option. The
B routes are designed for a social group of cyclists to experience
the smooth pavement of the trails & low traffic roads that feature
a variety of scenery through wilderness areas, wooded ravines &
vistas overlooking charming small towns. The A/B routes are training
favorites of the local racing cyclists that include various climbs
and turns provided by the two river valleys as well as traightways
begging to be hammered. Mankato is about 1 1/2 hours (80 miles)
southwest from the Twin Cities. You can choose to "motel it"
